1. What we collect
- Newsletter: the email address you submit.
- Gateway accounts: email, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), and the profile, project, and media content you choose to publish.
- Sponsorship enquiries: the email you provide to unlock the rate card.
- Usage data: basic, aggregated page and video engagement data. We do not sell personal data.
2. How we use it
To send the Brief newsletter, operate Gateway accounts and listings, respond to sponsorship and introduction requests, keep the platform secure, and understand which coverage resonates.
3. Who can see it
Content you publish to a Gateway listing or profile is public by design. Draft profiles and unpublished listings are visible only to you and the DEFCROS desk. Uploaded media is served through private, signed links.
4. Service providers
We use trusted infrastructure providers for hosting, database, authentication, file storage, email delivery, and embedded video (YouTube). They process data on our behalf under their own security terms.
5. Retention
Newsletter and enquiry emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Account and listing data is kept while your account is active.
6. Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email, edit or unpublish your Gateway content at any time, and request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing us.
7. Cookies
We use only what's needed to keep you signed in and to measure aggregate usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Embedded YouTube players may set their own cookies.
8. Children
The site is intended for professional audiences and is not directed at children under 13.
